 ers and find out at the 100 Years | 100 Women Virtual Watch Party on Tuesd
 ay\, August 18 at 2:00pm! \n\n\n	This program is Part II of an exciting pr
 oject marking the centennial of the 19th Amendment. 100 Years | 100 Women 
 asked a diverse group of more than 100 artists\, activists\, scholars\, st
 udents\, and community leaders—including Zoë Buckman\, Staceyann Chin\, Ka
 ren Finley\, Ebony Noelle Golden\, Andrea Jenkins\, Meshell Ndegeocello\, 
 Peggy Shaw &amp\; Lois Weaver (Split Britches)\, Toshi Reagon\, Martha Red
 bone\, Carrie Mae Weems\, Deborah Willis\, and many more—to creatively res
 pond to this milestone anniversary. Collectively\, their work interrogates
  not only the complex legacy of women’s suffrage through their various len
 ses and practices\, but also reflects this volatile year marked by the COV
 ID-19 pandemic\, #BlackLivesMatter\, and a divisive election season. \n\n
 \n	The Virtual Watch Party\, hosted by former MSNBC Analyst Maya Wiley\, i
 s a celebration of the project\, featuring sneak peeks of commissioned wor
 ks and the premiere of commissioned filmmaker Shola Lynch's cinematic port
 rait entitled A Portrait of 100 Years | 100 WOMEN. This short film is\, as
  Shola shares\, “a visual and audio collage of the present\, built on the 
 past\, and for the future\, the film will boldly exclaim—from these roots\
 , we grow.” \n\n\n	The Virtual Watch Party will also include an indigenous
  women’s welcome ceremony and responses by special guests including Susan 
 Herman\, Jari Jones\, Winona LaDuke\, Sherrilyn Ifill\, and Tantoo Cardina
 l\, followed by the launch of a new digital Project Archive providing acce
 ss for audiences to explore each participant's inspiration and contributio
 n to the initiative. \n\n\n	100 Years | 100 Women is presented with lead p
 artner National Black Theatre and nine New York City-based cultural partne
