Rita Moreno has earned the coveted EGOT designation (Emmy-Grammy-Oscar-Tony), but many aren’t aware that she won her Grammy for The Electric Company cast album and she received her first Emmy Award for her memorable guest starring appearance on The Muppet Show. This screening will present her Muppet Show episode in its entirety (featuring her memorable duet with Animal), selected performances from her long-run on the acclaimed children’s television show, The Electric Company, and other rare clips from Rita’s family television work of the 1970s.
