Advocate for New York City #CultureForAll
MAY 18, 2022
Help us advocate for our city’s arts and culture! MoMI joins our colleagues from a diverse range of cultural institutions in requesting an additional $100 million investment in NYC culture and arts in the city budget. It will speed up NYC’s economic recovery, create an inclusive cultural sector, and move towards an equitable economy across all neighborhoods in the five boroughs. Read the plan and sign on if you’d like to add your name or the name of your organization. Check out the individuals and organizations that have signed on to support here.
Updated June 3: On May 19, City Council Member Chi Ossé, Chair of the Council’s Committee on Cultural Affairs and Libraries, was joined by more than 100 artists, cultural workers, and cultural organizations from across the five boroughs at a rally at City Hall.
